Maybe instead of an oval shape, the logo could be in the shape of a giant soup bowl in profile with the background being a cityscape made from vegetables and soup related items such as bowls, mugs, baguettes, spoons, etc. There could even be steam trails wafting out of a soup bowl located on top of a space needle like structure. It should be one color (soup colored like a yummy orange). The word "Souplandia" should be prominent (I like the Harlow font with a shadow line or something 50's-ish or maybe even the Campbell soup font?) and the words "Cafe and Juice Bar" secondary and possible offset in a different font and color.
