Describe who/what this design is about

We are looking for something fun, family oriented, colorful - a bit whimsical. We are new owners and the old logo feels a bit like clip art.

We are open. We like color and have used and liked orange in some stuff we've tried.

How many colors do you want in your design?

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

Again, we're open to ideas it might be nice to incorporate a canoe. We have camping, cottages & floating (canoes, rafts, tubes, etc.). We really promote a family atmosphere which is a bit different from the "party" atmosphere that can be associated with floating.

We are just off the old Route 66 and the business has been around since 1937 in some form or another.

We're on the Gasconade River - hence the business name. We do sometimes use the initials GHR. Once we get the logo we will be looking to use it in a new brochure. We want to make sure we have it with a white background as well as transparent and we want it to be simple enough to reproduce well and easily.

Thank you so much for submitting your design. One thing I should have said in our brief is that we are located in Missouri and while I really like the pine trees they are not representative of our location. So we do really like the use of trees but pines are probably not a good choice for our logo. Sorry to not have mentioned that up front!
