Logo for dental surgery product distributor

I am an independent sales agent for dental surgery companies. My business relates to mostly implants, but I DO NOT sell implants. I do provide bone grafting materials and dental surgery devices. Two of my products are - maxxeus bone from Community Tissue Services - http://www.maxxeus.com/. The other is Omnia Spa, an Italian disposable medical device company - http://www.omniaspa.us/. I also have a couple of smaller companies that are also in the regenerative and surgical device fields.
I want this logo to convey confidence, trust, surgical and industrial. I prefer a clean, modern look, but nothing too abstract.
The logo will be used for monograms on clothing, business cards, stationery, signing at trade shows, and social media sites. I will not have a dedicated website for some time.

I'm open to more than two colors. But, for a two color logo I would prefer a deep, rich blue and silver/titanium/stainless steel. I'm also open to a burgundy or marroon in place of the blue. I would also like a black and white option.

I have searched the keywords - Dental, Denver, Dallas, Surgery, and Solutions looking for logo ideas using the DSS initials as well as the business name. There are several on each of those keyword searches that I liked on this site. I would prefer not to have a logo with a cheesey looking tooth and screw incorporated into the name. If you have a unique idea, I'm willing to take a look.
