Describe who/what this design is about

The logo will represent an apparel brand for professional helicopter pilots, targeting ages 26-44yrs. Lift Pro Lifestyle clothing (hats, t-shirts, hoodies, vehicle decals) will be high quality material, that needs a sleek, bold, style; that represents all those who have made sacrifices and tested their limits to achieve the title of pro helicopter pilot.

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

Need to avoid the "clip-art" feel on the helicopter. Also, helicopter cannot be too curved and soft. The primary type of helicopter silhouette should be an ASTAR (AS350).
Really needs balance with use of negative space. This will be a silk screen / vehicle decal logo, so can't have fine details.
