I like the maori greenstone (jade) pendants representing fishhooks or the unfurling fern (koru). This is a nice example: http://www.kiwitreasure.com/830-new-zealand-greenstone-open-koru-pendant.htm This particular one is a more abstract, open style, which I prefer. There are lots of other examples on google images.
