Grey and white are the first that come to mind. In the past we have used orange as a bright color, but this could change if you think best. Definitely not purple, pink, or neon. Probably not brown or yellow. We are open to suggestions!

Usage:
Immediate use will be for the website, invoices (and other printed papers), large stickers to put on shipping boxes, small stickers to put on our finish samples.
Overall shape:
For the website and printed papers, we probably need more of a horizontal rectangle than square.
More:
I think that our company name helps evoke some good feelings. When I think of the word Highland I think of the Scottish highlands and Highland NC. Both places have beautiful, rich scenery and both have a rich history of superior craftsmanship.
We've contemplated the idea of HIGHLAND in a serif and FORGE in a sans-serif, but really we are open to your own ideas.
If you were going to put more focus on one of the words, it would be Highland.
