Logo for Production Music Library

DBMP Music is a library that includes four separate categories of music for productions: underscore and themes for television, music for films and trailers, music for advertising, and artists/bands. The logo should have a weighty, iconic, prestigious look without being too busy. My current site is www.beyermusic.com. I'd like to go in a new, more developed and artistic direction but feel free keep some of the elements of the original look.

There are two approaches I'm equally drawn to at this point: An abstract icon with text underneath such as Pro Tools http://shop.avid.com/store/product.do?product=324083762044976
Or Universal Audio's.
Or an interesting manipulation of the letters DBMP with "music" in text.
