Black and/or Browns are the colors I feel best instill the feeling of an established place with a name similar to mine. I will need something that will also look good when printed in black and white.

In my advertising, I will use different versions of the same logo. When marketing the restaurant and entire establishment, I would like the logo to mention Restaurant & Catering. However, when marketing weddings, the image I am looking to portray is as just a caterer, so the logo will not make mention of the restaurant or even catering for that matter. I must have a logo that works for both uses.

We have a very well established business under the name Cortlandt Colonail Restaurant & Ballroom but I feel it is getting stale, so that is why we are looking to change to the Cortlandt Colonial Manor. I don't want to change the basic name due to the good reputation we have, so I have to work with this name. Evarything you will see on our website was designed in house, and our abilities were limited, which is why the logos you will see are basically just words. Although we like traditional, we are VERY open to outside of the box thinking with logo design and may jump on such a logo if we like it.
