This logo is for our 6th annual "Wood Wars" baseball tournament. The tournament is held in McKinney, TX each fall as an exhibition for collegiate club baseball teams (non-varsity athletes competing against other colleges and universities. Think JV level.). The tournament is a wood bat only tournament. In the past the logo has been a play on the Star Wars font, it'd be nice to continue that but only from a font perspective. No concepts with light sabers or outspace motifs. This year is special because we'll be partnering with military organizations to raise awareness for our troops and also raise money to help families of troops who are deployed. I'm hoping for a light grey digital camo look to the logo. It will be going on a flat billed baseball hat with a black base for the hat and grey digital camo bill on the hat so it needs to match that setting.
I'm looking for something sleek and clean but also a mascot type feel that you normally see with a centralized logo on a baseball cap for a college team.
