Logo re-design for local favorite Hawaiian restaurant

Da Kitchen logo re-design

This logo will represent the company brand at a glance. It conveys a modern but tactile and high quality feel. This is a local favorite and tourist destination restaurant. We are looking to update the brand and logo to appeal to local and visitor alike. It will appear on everything from the website to the front of the official t-shirt.

Food

Our target audience is Hawaii locals and visitors alike. The logo must attract those searching for authentic Hawaiian cuisine.

You have complete creative control. We want the new logo to be a fluid and modern representation of the exisitig brand. Please reference the website at http://www.da-kitchen.com. As a reference point we like the simplicity of the Hawaiian Airlines logo.

    Draft #5 Design and layout are good. Can you include resemblance of Hula Girl and "island soul food" instead of "eat big?"

    Draft #6, We like the design, but afraid it may be too close to DK steakhouse hawaii. The font is really similar. Maybe a tweak to the font with a similar layout may work better.

    Designers- Thank you for the work so far. We do want to keep some resemblance of the Hula Girl in the new logo, a more refined, simple version that can be easily excluded if needed. We would also like the tag line underneath "Da Kitchen" to say "Island Soul Food." Please also place logo on a white background. Aloha
