This logo is for a music and film distribution company. The company is responsible for promoting and advertising music and film artists to 10000 radio stations and 100+ distribution outlets in 70 countries worldwide. Our website is http://www.musikandfilm.com. You can use this site to get a general feel for where the logo will be placed. We like the energy and vibe of the current font being used in the logo. We do not have rights to this particular font, but if the sort of liveliness and general style of this font can be transferred over to a new logo, that is really what we are looking for. The Font is called Bright Young Things, just for reference, and can be seen on dafont.com.

Other than the important things already mentioned, the logo should be clean and elegant, easy to read in smallish print for email signatures, the perfect balance between readability and beauty. The logo should also be vertically efficient - so it looks good when there isn't a whole lot of vertical space. Should look good at about 60 px high.
