We are looking to rebrand our company with a fresh new look to our logo. We have been in business in Kansas City for 12 years and have used the same, non-professionally designed logo for that entire time. We want to convey a fresh, clean, modern look. We sell triple glass vinyl replacement windows that are the best most energy efficient windows on the market today. Our marketing strategy is based on selling the quality of the windows, and the energy savings they produce. We don't sell on price -- our windows are at the high end of the price range. We would like our new image to convey this without making us look stuffy and overpriced.
our competitors in the market, those similarly priced to us, are Champion Windows (http://www.championwindow.com) and Renewal by Anderson (http://www.renewalwindows.com). On the lower end, Window World ( http://www.windowskansascity.com) is also a competitor -- but on price only -- so they would really be the opposite of what we are -- low quality windows, sell on price only.
Finally, we are trying to convey a feeling of an easy company to do business with -- our sales process takes place in the customer's home, so we want to convey a feeling of a safe, easy to do business with company that you wouldn't mind inviting into your home.

an obvious choice is to use Green in some or all of the logo. We have never done that before, we don't HAVE to have it in there, but it seems to fit the narrative we are using, that our windows are energy efficient, and will save you money.
