The main brand colour is Pantone - PMS 557 (R-162, G-188, B-175; H-150, S-14%, B-74% in Photoshop) see http://www.greenshop.co.uk/popup_image.php?pID=3868&image=0. Accent colour should be either off-white, cream, silver or bronze.

We would like to use a stylised wild garlic flower head or leaf in the design, but are open to suggestions. The font should be something along the lines of Trajan Pro. For inspiration, look at Fortnum and Mason, Daylesford Organic, Duchy Originals.

@wmakos: Point taken! Other drafts have been evaluated and the blinders are off.

    Hi everyone.

We've extended the project. We've had to! Everything you're coming up with is just mind-blowing. We love that you're thinking originally and coming up with such surprising things.

You're making picking a winner really hard. In a good way.

You are making this really hard for us! There are some fantastic ideas here.

If you want to try something revolutionary, go ahead. We would love to be surprised.

@onesun - Love what you're doing. These are the designs to beat so far.
Draft #53 - put the black dot back in the centre of the flower, take the black lines off the petals (so the whole thing is more like draft #2), and play with that garlic leaf more. Make it more defined in the text - larger and with more of a sweep. Try some versions with it at the end of the text instead.
Draft #52 - same thing with the leaf as #53. Can you even up the stigma so that they all look the same? I'd like an inverted version as well (white on green), and some monochrome versions. Could you do this with the flower to one side and the text next to it?

@wmakos - these are much more what I had in mind. Thank you.

@Bosch - draft #56 is the strongest. Thank you.

Thank you for your patience, everyone, and for the new ideas. We've been sifting through and seeing what excites us and what doesn't, what makes us stop and look again and what feels wrong. We'll start eliminating designs that feel wrong, or that we feel are too close to another designer's work.

@vector - I'm still not sure you've got the idea of luxury, high-end produce coming through. Draft #27 is headed in the right direction, but we'd like to keep the colours cool. The cream is too yellow. Have a look at the pictures of the plant again. Although the flower shape is right, the plant structure is different from that which you've drawn. Your comments about copyright have been noted.

@wmakos - drafts #40 and #41 - the font is wrong. I think we need to stick to a serif font and be much more classic. Can you have a radical re-think?

@onesun - Beautiful work, but we will have to dismiss drafts #14, #15, #16 and #21. We feel that it looks too like a health spa brand. Draft #20 is the one I'd like to work on, in conjunction with draft #18. The leaf still isn't in the right place. Can we incorporate it into the typeface, make it part of one of the letters - the "O" or the "A"? In draft #20, I'd like to change the flower so that the centre part (the stigma) of the right hand design copies the left design - i.e. the centre part is solid green with white defining lines. I love the definition on the petals.

@dany96 - Draft #17 I think you've got something here, but it needs to be more airy. The flower looks a bit solid and has lots its middle.

@colourhive - these are really starting to take shape. Draft #42 (lower design) - can we see it without the motif and with the font stretched horizontally slightly? Can we try putting the solid circle behind the type (so that some of the type becomes white on green), and lose the border to the circle? I love the simplicity of using the flower as a full stop. Maybe try one with just the single flower in the button? Draft #43 (lower design again) is getting there.

@whisperer - Draft #34 is my favourite of yours, but needs to be stronger and have more impact. The winning design will be going on everything from the web to wine glasses, egg boxes to espresso cups. Make it as strong and iconic as you can.

@Bosch - Drafts #44 and #45 are the strongest, but the flower (because of the orientation of the petals) doesn't look like the wild garlic flower. I'd prefer to stay away from black and white and to be more definite on the flower.

Once again, thank you all for everything so far. Keep it all coming.

    Hi everyone

There seem to be some clashes here, and a few designs that are getting close to each other, or to designs that other designers have done for different projects. Can I ask you to stick to your own designs please? You are all good enough and original enough, and we don't want any copyright issues.

That said, there are some great movements on and some lovely new ideas. I'll come back to you with feedback in a few hours.

I've posted a couple more garlic flowers (with leaves) on the Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.228561020521796.63216.227131853998046
in case any of you are still unsure as to the anatomy of the plant.

    Feedback so far:

Onesun - amazing work. Thank you.
Draft #2. Extraordinary. It's striking, strong and so confident. The wild garlic leaf gets a bit lost (looks a bit like a Celtic accent on the "A"). Could we try putting it inside the "O"? You're going to kill me on printing costs with this one, but I love it.

Draft #4 - can we try inverting that white on green?

Draft #15 - Beautiful, but I'd like to see the O a bit bigger and the plant simplified (fewer curlicues - it's quite an angular plant). I prefer the white on green.

dany96 - there's a real dynamism to your designs and there are some really nice ideas here. I particularly like the lozenge/button of draft# 6, but I'd prefer to see an open flower, rather than the buds.

colourhive - You've hit the mark on luxury. I think we can be simpler, however. The 3 flower works better than the whole head. I really like the straight lines over the type and I would prefer to take away any motif or scroll underneath. The white on green works best for me, but feel free to come up with something else that works for you. For me, drafts #11, #12 (lower design) and #13 are great.

wmakos - draft #9 doesn't work for me, I'm afraid, although I do like your idea of working the "O" into the design. The font is too lo-fi for us, too.

This is so exciting for us. Not only are you giving us logo ideas, but working through this is helping us to define our marketing strategy and how we want to present ourselves. Keep the designs coming, please!

These are extraordinary! They are so surprising. I actually love the fact that some of you have gone off brief and are giving us something really different. You're really pushing the idea that this is a luxury brand. Lo-fi we aren't!

We want to be able to print this on a satin ribbon, so if you could keep that in mind, that would be great.

Bear with me while I have a really good look at these. I'll give detailed feedback for them in the next few hours.

    Hi Vector
Draft#1 is a bit too Art Nouveau for us. We'd like to keep it to two colours if possible too. Have a look at our current (home designed) logo on our Facebook page to get an idea of the simplicity that we're after.

I've also posted some photos of wild garlic flowers that might give you a hand.
