Roscommon County Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization in northern Michigan, serving the citizens, municipalities and nonprofits with Scholarship and Grant support. We are upbeat, personable and dependable. Roscommon County has three large lakes, including Higgins Lake - deep, blue and great trout fishing. Houghton Lake - The largest inland lake in MI, great fishing, boating and recreation. Lake St. Helen - Smaller, Blue Gill fishing and off road trail ways. 60% of the county is designated State Land - Forests, Boat Launches, Quite Sports Areas. There are several major rivers, including the AuSable River and the Muskegon River. Major wetlands and watersheds. This is a beautiful Vacation and Retirement area. Clean air, Clean water, lots of recreation - both winter and summer. We would like to reflect a bright, happy, exciting image.
