Describe who/what this design is about

The logo is for the Australian International School - which is a leading international school in Singapore. The School has 2,600 students aged between 3 and 18; 67% are Australian, but over 45 other nationalities are represented in the cohort. The School was founded 18 years ago and is currently revisiting it's Mission, Vision and Values statements; revisiting our logo / branding is part of this process.

The logo will have a very wide range of uses and needs to be suitable for school uniforms, stationery, marketing materials, promotional items, displays, school buildings, etc. We currently have a crest - we're looking for either a refresh or a redesign. Open to options.
