Erfolg mit System
Yes
We are a German software company specializing on “course management software” and “event management software” but not e-Learning systems. So we are in a business-to-business environment. Hence, we are looking for a dynamic but serious logo. Our company has a serious, yet highly innovative and creative personality.
informo is the name of our main product and will become soon our company name as well.
Our tagline "Erfolg mit System" can be roughly translated to “A system for success” or “Success with methodology”.

Please have a look at the current color scheme of our website http://www.informo.de . The logo has to fit into it. At the same time we need a color scheme which is suitable on a white background.

Requirements
- Usable on the web (number of colors don’t matter)
- Usable on our stationary (preferable two colors only)
- it should be recognizable when printed in black and white
- It has to be scalable so that we reproduce it in different sizes
- The image has to be recognizable and easy to remember
- The used fonts have to be available without any costs
We require the final delivery to be in have to be usable in Adobe Fireworks. So we mainly need layered PNG files.
Usage of the logo has to be possible
- With symbol, text and tagline
- Symbol only
- Text with tagline
- Text only, without tagline
Ideas
- Symbol could “artistically” reflect the “i" of informo
- Symbol could somehow incorporate the number 3, but not as a figure. When using this approach it should be incorporated into the logo like in these examples: http://crmdynamo.com/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/logo.gif
http://www.logoking.com/indetail.php?id=439 - I can be persuaded to drop the tagline if it’s not working for the overall design
