Speech partners is creating a website to be used as our primary method of communicating our services to potential customers as well as attracting potential employees/therapists. We are an educational speech therapy company offering speech therapy through web based conferencing technology. Our customers are primarily the administrators of public and private K-12 schools as well as parents.

no music or sounds on the template. A flash header or java header is nice as long as it is not distracting or too flashy.

I'm the programmer who will be working with the files you create. After talking with Speech Partners I did want to clarify a couple of items to ensure that what you create will be easy to work with and not require additional programming/adaption on my end. 1) You mention that the files will be provided in HTML/CSS format. Just to clarify, the CSS file will contain ALL layout/positioning of the design and not just fonts/text, correct? What I want to avoid is receiving a CSS file that powers only the formating of text, hyperlinks and other very basic functions, but does not power the site. I do not want to receive the HTML format for the site templates (splash page and regular/inner pages) that consists of old coding using tables within tables within tables. All positioning of design elements MUST be handled through CSS as much as humanly possible. 2) Concerning the HTML format, I want to confirm that the end product I will be working with will actually be a DWT (Dreamweaver template file) with appropriate editable regions. You will use CSS for placement of design elements, text formating, etc. and will NOT use iframes. Is that correct? Here's what I'm getting at: I've worked with other programmers in the past who have sent a DWT file, but it is really a disguised PHP file. The site was built entirely in PHP, not set up as a theme and the content was entirely powered by iFrames. This is the kind of coding I do not want to receive in the end. 3) Regarding the JavaScript or ANY script element you have in your design, I want to also make sure that Speech Partners will receive all files of origin. In other words, you won't provide only parts of the script which point to other script elements on your server, etc. Again, I have worked with other programmers in the past who have supplied script driven elements but then if their server crashed, they went out of business, modified the script the site would stop functioning properly. I want to avoid this kind of issue on the Speech Partners site. Also, concerning the JavaScript (or other script elements) will there be some kind of interface for administration? For example, on the splash page there is a large image with a boy/orange shirt and then text next to it. I would prefer for this image to consist of text and graphics vs. a flattened JPG consisting of fonts/images. Will your script allow for easy modification of that text, or will hard coding be required? 4) Concerning the HTML newsletter/email template, I want to confirm that the template will meet these standards: * No wider (main body area) than 620 pixels wide * Will contain hard-coded images in the HTML file * No call-outs to scripts or CSS files * Compliant with elements of design for CAN-SPAM (e.g. phone number/address area) Can you please confirm this? 5) Concerning the end files which will be sent to Speech Partners, will you be FTPing those to the server, sending them a ZIP file, using DropBox to transfer the files (including subfolder format)? This is more for my clarification to determine how much I will be involved in setting up the site's templates after Speech Partners receives them. 6) Will you supply a layered PSD file of both the site and newsletter as well as all images in case they must be modified? 7) Can you please provide a detailed list of the files you will supply if you are awarded this project? 8) In the event that you are chosen, will you be available by email/phone should we have any questions? (I don't expect this to be necessary, but it is always nice to know in advance.) 9) Will your code be written in such a way that it is clean, debugged, and complies with SEO standards? (Meta data for example must be at the top of the page not buried elsewhere or called out to a script file, etc.)

CORRECTION: DESIGNERS: You do not need to place the contact form on the home page. Only on the content page.

Cre8tivedesigner, #38 and #39 are contenders but I'd like to see you bring the boy in the orange shirt into the main header and replace the other pictures with ones we have provided. We like your use of the bird in both of these concepts.

AtifAziz, nice concept in #10. We would like to see the gray panels divided into separate panels. Also, we would like to see your design incorporate the bird as design elements some more.

ATTENTION DESIGNERS: Please do not use pictures of teenagers or college age students. We provide services to primarily elementary aged children. Deck86, very nice concept in #24. We like how you incorporated the logo into the main header. Also, very nice layout. We would like to see you bring the picture of the boy in the orange shirt into the main header.

Designerguru, don't display our email address anywhere on the template. We are going to use a form in the contact page. Also, keep the telephone number but maybe make it a little more flashy and prominent. jucasta, very nice revisions on 19#. Thank you.

very nice designs dezignerguru and jucasta. Both of you have made very nice use of the bird in creative ways. jucasta, very nice use of the boy in the orange shirt in #4. Could you improve on the gray panel graphics. Consider a subtle dimensional look. I like how you used the bird in the center header, but could you reduce the thickness of the lines back to the original proportions so the wing does not appear solid. Also, it is ok to change the format of the logo like you did, but could you preserve the 3D look. Also, maybe you could bring a little bit more orange into the design as well. Overall, a very nice start. Dezinerguru, I like how you used the bird in the title bars of the panel graphics in #5. Very nice. I also like how you blended the pics of the boy in orange along with the girl in yellow. Could you place that in the center frame as the first picture in the cue, replacing the picture of the three teenagers? Thanks again!
