Unique and modern logo for a exotic veterinarian!

  draft #62 I really love this idea but I don't have a business name yet, but still want to use the logo for a business cards in the near future(just personal ones with my name and contact info on it). So I can't have that logo on a business card as it is. Is there any way you can detach it from the text? If you detach it... will I be able to add it on later? Also, I like the chameleon a lot... but can you try it with a tortoise to see what it's like? Also with a hound-looking dog like a Vizsla or Pointer??? OR a Great Dane or Doberman without the cropped ears and docked tail? Thanks!

  I'm looking from something a bit more... artistic and edgy. Something different that stands out and isn't clip-art-looking. I hope some new designers will contribute something really good as I'm still looking for the perfect logo!! Please help!

  draft #13 could you try to take away the frog and chameleon and try the design with only the dog and turtle (looking at each other) and maybe choose a different dog ie: a German Short Hair Pointer (or similar look). I really like the thistle outline but could you use like a darker blue and green or purple and green? I'm not a huge fan of the pastel colors. Thanks!

  draft #16 could you try taking off the chameleon and have the dog looking down at the tortoise? and then maybe try another one with a different dog ie: Scottish Terrier or Schnauzer?

  draft #7 could you please try to put a vet in the middle of the dog and the tortoise and have both animals looking up at the vet? and take away the bird and lizard? and then instead of the plain background could you maybe make it sort of like, an emblem and put a subtle/abstract thistle surrounding all three characters? Also green or purple instead of blue? just to see what it's like! Thanks :)

  draft#1 - Can you take away the stethoscope? I think I changed my mind about that (I looked online and a lot of vets do that.... I want to be different and stand out!) Also could you somehow incorporate a Scottish thistle the background??? And maybe bring the chameleon back more so it doesn't look so long... if it sticks out that far I think you need to add a leg in there, but if you brought it back away from the dog's head a bit it might look a bit better? I don't know just brain storming! To any designer- What about putting a person standing up in the middle, facing forward/head-on (a plain person outline or doctor with a white coat) and having a dog on one side (profile view, facing the vet) and then like a tortoise on the other side (also facing the vet)? The dog could be sitting or standing and a small tortoise held in the person's hand on the opposite side? or a larger tortoise on the ground. If both animals are on the ground the person's hands could be down towards them? Like opening up their arms to the animals. If that makes any sense! Also somehow incorporating a thistle would be cool.

  Oh one more thing before you get started! I would like the animals to look more realistic or silhouettes rather than silly/childish cartoon animals. This logo could potentially be used for a small and exotic animal veterinary practice someday (dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, fish, small mammals, birds, etc) so I would like it to look professional and unique.   Also in the background of my design (or somehow incorporated?) you could put in a purple Scottish thistle since I'll be a Glasgow grad. It is not essential but it could be an interesting touch to make me stand out even more!!! Thanks -Ash
