I would appreciate seeing two designs.

The first one using a shield type symbol in deep blue type logo symbol with "Van Riper Nies" next to it or below it with initials VRN in the shield. (there was a recent law firm here with a nice looking shield, but in red). Van Riper is one partner's last name. Nies is the other. So, having them separated using colors or a |, etc. would be great. We like the colors blue and grey (any other suggestions appreciated).

The second design is having "Van Riper" in a block with one background color, next to "Nies" in another block with a different background color right next to it.

We would like to have "Attorneys at Law" or "Attorneys" under the logos

My law partner is not sold on the shields, although I am. The colors we like are deep blue and grey rather than aqua type colors. Thank you.

A few without the shield but with variations of the names in dark blue and grey (darker grey) would be great. I would like to compare the logos with shields vs. logos of the names next to each other as in #4 above.

I would like to see some designs with a smaller shield and to the left of the name. Also, maybe more classical type font initials in a shield. Also different types of shields with designs in them, etc. Thank you. You guys are doing a great job......
