Here are some basic ideas I want to throw out:

*IMAGE

A bank-like structure with columns (similar to the Bank of England or the Greek Parthenon) as the image in our logo. I would like the image to not look cartoonish but rather more refined and elegant, more detailed.

For the text, we are looking for a refined, gothic Serif font (Garamond, Georgia, etc.) with the word "BILTMORE" being larger and possibly placed above "LOAN AND JEWELRY" with a line separating the two. It probably would look good if the letters were in all caps.

PLACEMENT

In terms of placement, one idea would be to put the building to the left and have the text to the right. Another option would be to put "BILTMORE" in the fascia of the structure (the triangular part above the columns) and then "LOANS AND JEWELRY" below the image or included in the image. Or even "B L & J" in the triangular part above the columns with the text to the right.

These are just some basic concepts. Please feel free to get creative but also please keep it professional and sophisticated, not too arty.
