I am a practitioner of energy medicine, using several healing modalities (BodyTalk, Accunect, DNA Activations). I work on both people and animals (all types).
I have chosen the name/image of the centaur Chiron, of Greek mythology. Chiron was a great healer, astrologer, musician and teacher of many of the great Greek heroes. He was accidentally wounded by Hercules with a poisoned arrow, and as great a healer as he was, could not heal himself, and thus became known as the Wounded Healer. I am using his name to represent my healing practice since I identify with being a healer, teacher, musician and astrologer - all aspects of Chiron.
He is also a centaur - part horse and man. A major theme associated with Chiron is the reintegration of mind and body. Centauric consciousness represents the capacity for both rational thought and intuitive awareness to coalesce. My work is about balancing people and animals energetically so they can achieve their highest potential physically, emotionally and spiritually.
I also associate with his physical characteristics because i treat both people and animals, horses in particular.
Astrologically, Chiron is one of the newer planetoids used quite extensively in astrology today. Chiron's energy is with all of us and I can help my clients work through that energy if it is affecting them in a compromising way.

Some symbols/concepts that relate to Chiron that I want to convey.
1) Healing/ Balance = the restoration of balance; applying the process to make one whole, whether it be physical, emotion or spiritually based; bringing the bodies energies into balance to promote natural healing.
2) A Key = enabling the client to find the solution to their problem and then allowing them to choose which door they go through to allow their healing process to begin.
3) Energy/Holistic Medicine = the energy medicine I use affects them on all levels and allows them to heal on all levels. Non-invasive process.
4) Teacher = My goal is to teach my clients how to help themselves so they can maintain balance in their lives.
5) Human/Animal = Energy is the same for all living beings, whether they are animal or human. I work with both.
6) The astrological symbol for Chiron = bring in the archetype/astrological meaning for Chiron (I could not past in an image for this, but you can google it and find it very easily. (Sorry!)
