Elegant, stylish and bold logo that identifies our company as well established and a market leader. We simply are not your ordinary carpet store.
While we are upscale and high end we need the logo to also be friendly, warm and welcoming. Logo will be used in all aspects of our busines. Web, signage, store merchandising, sale tags, newspaper and magazine ads, as well as direct mail. Color is important, most of our ads are image ads and in glossy full color, but logo also must work well in black and white. Must be interchangable, meaning with or without icon or design element that is created. Ideally, were hoping for a design element or icon that can... in time identify our company on its own...at least locally.

Pease no typical flooring or carpet symbols (ie. a roll of carpet or piece of tile). However something sybolic and abstract is ok.
We want the "&" rather the word "and" in our name.
It will be very helpful to have a design that is more horizontal than tall. Im not opposed to multi line logos but being too tall can be problematic in ad layouts.
NOTE ON TAGLINE: While we use it often it can be disregarded in logo but must be able to incorporate A tagline....We are concidering a new one. Should a designer feel that they have a unique idea on a new tagline, feel free to incorporate into design or contact me through message.
