Creative Brief

Church Logo

Hope International Church

Save. Encourage. Change.

No

This is for a multicultural church that is looking at re-branding it current identity to a more modern design. We are in the process of launching a new website but our old website is www.hopeinternationalchurch.net. There you can see our current logo....which is somewhat busy. We are desiring something simple and clean. The color scheme should be more earth tones....(burnt oranges, browns, tans, etc) Our pastor really likes the logo at www.freechapel.org. We have played with different was to incorporate a lower case "h" into a circle. Our pastor likes that.

iAmCl: Actually, if you would just match the reflection on draft#53, i think that would work better. thanks

iAmCL: Could you add the dot on the I to draft#36. I know its very similar to draft#53, but the reflection doesn't line up between the actual logo and the text like it does on 36. Could you also add the bw versions like you did in draft#53? thanks

This is for everyone who has submitted a draft: just for the heck of it, try including our mission statement: save. encourage. change. I would like to see what you come up with...also, if you have another idea outside of the circle thing, I am totally open to that.....not married to having to have a circle in the logo. thanks

iAmCL: love what you did with draft#56_1. Could you do that same thing without the solid grey color in the background and let's see what that looks like?

nakedart: I like draft#50 and 51.....It looks really cool....a bit cartoony....could you do some more drafts based on your current designs. How would it look in a solid color? (bw or white) iAmCL: upload all of your previous designs....could you also include a solid color (bw)version like you did with some of your previous ones.

All, I like the "h" and "i" incorporated into one like some have done. Any variations of that are welcomed.

iamCL: Love the new colors of draft#33 and 32. I also like the colors of draft#21....could you do to draft #21 that you did to draft#33? Also, when you put the logo next to the text in 33 and 32, the reflection that you have on the text dose not line up with the reflection of the h logo.....could you fix that just for giggles and grins?

iamCL: like what you did with the burnt orange.....a little too red though....and can you do what you did with the H.O.P.E. on draft #30.....could you do the same thing with draft #21. Auraavatary: I like where your going with draft #28 and #31. What other variations would you do? maybe a different font? did you see the image I put on my previous comment with the burnt orange/gray....what could you or anyone else do with that? FYI: The burnt orange color that I like is the one from draft#13. Thanks for everyone's creativity. Keep them coming.

I really like the h with the burnt orange and gray.....what would you do for a variation?....maybe 3D? https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=4020c583c7&view=att&th=13144019ab17daac&attid=0.1&disp=inline&realattid=f_gqbamhcc0&zw

iamCL: love draft #21....could you or anyone else try some more 3d options? Again, I'm looking for modern.....NON-churchy. Auraavatary: LOVE draft #11....could you also try some different variations including some 3D renderings? thanks.

Auraavatary is on the right track. I'm looking for modern....not "churchy". Maybe even something 3dish. Check out preachers like Jenzen Franlklin, Ed Young, access.tv, wn.elim.org.nz, kaleohouston.com (really like). Hope this helps. Keep it up. Thanks.
