Describe who/what this design is about

This will represent our new flagship web based software product which is replacing our current offering. ElevateCDS (CDS stands for Collaborative Data System) uses cloud based services to provide collaboration tools for professionals in the following industries (finance, legal, accounting, etc). From our upcoming press release "Attorneys, accountants, bankers, insurance agents, investment bankers, investment managers, financial planners, and a myriad of other professionals now see the value of working with each other for the client, rather than working exclusively with the client providing a narrow focus of financial counsel. A cloud based collaborative data system makes client collaboration easy." It's a way to transfer and share secure and sensitive data among many people.

What colors would you like?

Our primary company is Global Practice Network. You can find our logo at www.globalpracticenetwork.com. We primarily use blues for that company, but are open to other colors for the software product. It will be it's own entity.

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

We used a globe/orb type design for our primary company, but this is starting to feel like an overused concept. Something fresh that can stand on it's own would be nice. Since the CDS stands for Collaborative Data System, the CDS lettering doesn't necessarily need to show up huge in the logo. It could elevated with superscript or something along those lines. It doesn't need to be attached right at the end of Elevate.
