The special purpose of MLS is to train students for the public ministry of the gospel and to enroll them upon graduation at Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota.

The logo design shown in the JPEGs provided was done quickly on "Logo Snap." We like the outside shape of the shield and the tuft at the top. That does not need to change.
We like the coloring of the entire logo - letters and shapes.
We like the font the logo has.
We like the size difference between the starting letters of each word and the rest of the letters.
We would not mind seeing the lettering stacked differently.
We would like the lettering placed more precisely than in the staggered formation where it now sits. I simply eye-balled the lettering as it currently stands.
We would like to possible see the cross slightly emphasized more as cross, not drastically, slightly.
Overall we like the currently logo the way it stands. We simply need things precise.
We would like the school name layered. What I mean is this. We would like to have the ability to have the logo read Michigan Lutheran Seminary or remove part of the words and have just the abbreviation MLS or have no wording depending upon, just the shield depending upon the logo usage - clothes, print, online, etc.
