The Security Traders Association of NY, also known as STANY, is a membership association for professionals in the financial services industry. We are an affiliate of a larger organization (STA) and our members are traders and other professionals involved in the trading of securities in the NY, NJ and Southern CT area. STANY has been serving the greater trading community since 1937 and we are looking to change/update our very old logo to reflect a more modern approach. Our members are interested in networking with colleagues as well as being kept abreast of changes and innovations in the securitites industry.

The logo is round with a rotary dial telephone and a ticker tape in the center (as you can see...it has not been updated since the 30's) It was orginaly done in black and white but we have changed the colors at various times.
