iCalendarEvents.com promotes upcoming events around the Houston area. People are able to search, find, and promote events on our website. We try to get the word out about exciting events coming into town.
The site we have now doesn't work correctly and isn't good for SEO. Since we have to fix it we have decided to get a professional design that looks good and keeps people coming back. We need a flash at the start of the site that people can see some of the top events and we can use this spot for promotions. The pages and tabs will be the same as our site now but we will be adding to the "what's local" tab with restaurants, bars/clubs, kids/family, Landmarks, museums, parks/gardens. The main thing is that we want it easy to use and people don't get overwhelmed.

We also like the way the tabs to navigate though the site are displayed. www.citysearch.com is another site that isn't too busy and is kind of easy to use. We really like www.nycgo.com because they give people a lot of information to make a good decision they also give you their top picks.
