  Thank you for all of the drafts that have been uploaded. We will be review and comment more over the weekend with our feedback. Has anyone thought of creating a lightbulb mascot character to go on the logo? In the meantime, we love the innovative ways designers are using a LED or regular lightbulb. For example, as with drafts #48, #44, #41. Also, we like the ways designers are using "ILD" as a monogram of its own. For example, with drafts #1, #31, #34, #40, & #53 #37, #38, #39, #40, #45, #46, #47 - First of all, the "ILD" looks great. But - let's look at a different font for "Intelligent Lighting Design". More modern? like the font examples in #8, #26, or #42 or similar? Can we have "Intelligent" in a stronger font or emphasized more than "Lighting Design"?....and how about an option with two-tones like seen in #60 and/or all lower-case? #26 - We don't use CFL energy-saving bulbs in our fixtures. Can you replace with an LED bulb? #20 - We like the prism idea. But, can we make it more dimensional with more vibrancy? As a true prism reflecting light where you can see the light spreading outward like in design #37? #31 & #32: In #31, We like the "ILD" but the shape of the logo is odd. How can you use the ILD behind the words? #41 - You did a great job of creating a lightbulb in a modern and sophisticated way. How can we make the "Intelligent Lighting Design" less curvy & wispy - and more modern? We need to keep "Lighting" & "Design" with each other. "Intelligent" can be on its own. #59 & #61 - The color spectrum combined with the dandelions looks great. #59 is cool, but it seems too horizonal and long. Any ideas?

  All designers: Take a lightbulb and make it not so industrial. Create a lightbulb image that is on the side of or behind the wording "Intelligent Lighting Design". Make a lightbulb fashionable? modern?

  Kcirdec93: Make the lightbulb smaller and not the entire focal point. I like the idea of wrapping the lightbulb in silk sashes or something light, airy, and wispy. This would appeal to our bridal and fashion clientele. Don't use ILD in the logo at all. Instead use Intelligent Lighting Design as the wording. Try making the Intelligent Lighting Design font more romantic and sophisticated. Keep up the great work.

  First of all, thank you for the drafts. After looking over these drafts so far, I have a couple of comments to steer us in the right direction: - All designers: Let's keep all logos limited to black + 2 colors max. Black keeps the logo grounded. - All designers: Think of a symbol like a mandala or lightbulb or something to make the logo more interesting. Think high-end wedding or boutique. I'll upload some symbols I like. - All designers: Think less industrial and more sophisticated + modern. Look at my image uploads. - Tunjh: I'm interested in seeing your designs revised into only black + 2 colors. Also, I would like to see your Draft #1 put into a design that has "Intelligent Lighting Design" outside the ILD symbol. Turn the ILD letter/symbol creation into an emblem beside/above/behind the words "Intelligent Lighting Design". Draft #1 is nice, but keep working on a revision. I like where you're going. - Petert: Let's limit the colors down to blue and black. I'm a fan of the draft you submitted with ILD above Intelligent Lighting Design. Be creative with a symbol or image instead of the "ILD" monogram. I like the quality of your imaging.
