This will be a logo for a social networking type website focused on sports. The website will be initially targeted towards golf and tennis, with later expansion to other similar sports (but probably NOT any "team" sports anytime soon).

Can incorporate sports themes into the logo design (i.e. from golf/tennis), but not necessary. This will be a social network of sorts, so embodying the idea of matching/pairing/connecting/networking in the logo design would be preferred (but again, not necessary). Could potentially make use of a "mascot" character (for instance we had an initial sketch that included a small bird hatching from a golf ball). Ideally we would like to see a variety of different logo designs, some incorporating the above, and some random ideas we may never have thought of!
Additionally, we will be launching an app as well, so any suggestions/ideas for a scaled down or "app size" version of the logo would be appreciated.
