We do data Integration, ETL, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence. Data is extracted from multiple heterogeneous sources like databases (oracle, sql, mysql, etc.), flat files, xml, etc. and integrated into a data warehouse for dimensional analysis via a cube.
When you design the logo, please envision data integration or data fusion. The logo should depict the type of work we do.

I like 3D logos more e.g. the Sony Ericsson, Nvidia, Xbox 360 logos (but those are just examples and please feel free to be more creative).
The preferred colors are green, blue, silver grey. Please don't use red or dark yellow.
