We are an annual gathering of homeschooling families for learning and social interaction. We want our logo to represent the fun and celebratory aspect of our conference, and provide a quick visual image of our event.
Here's a quick description of our event: "So much more than just a conference - it’s a celebration, a party, a statewide gathering of homeschoolers and their families for learning, friendship, support, and fun!
Featuring some of the best known speakers in the homeschooling and parenting community, HSC’s annual conference is a place to explore, relax, learn and find time to meet with new friends. It’s a place where everything you need to know about homeschooling is under one roof for an entire weekend!"

We have used just about every color over the past few years. We would like a 2 or more color version for print and web and a single color version for screening. Purple, green, red, orange are favored colors but again, we do not want to limit your creativity. Absolutely NO primary color designs (red, yellow, blue). We have to incorporate, somehow, our umbrella organization's logo, which can either be blue and yellow or can be used as black, ghosted, or as a solid color. Our attendees are hippy/earthy types - corporate doesn't do it here.

This is a logo for our annual conference, which is called "Adventures in Homeschooling". The conference is presented by the Homeschool Association of California. All of this is very, very wordy. We want a graphic to represent us (can be abstract) and/or some way to make the ADVENTURES IN HOMESCHOOLING wording more compact and interesting, but simple.
We are NOT a school oriented group - no primary colors, no apples, no books, no school-type stuff. We are not a school, we do not represent any of the things that school represents. No houses either - we homeschool but not in our houses exclusively.
We are a vibrant, celebratory event - with a range of ages from babies to grandparents, with ALOT of teens. Our attendees are environmentally conscious, earthy, active, involved with their kids, our teens are quite diverse from nerdy to artsy and edge-y. We have a good sense of humor. We want to seem professional and branded but without any corporate stuffiness.
We suggest that you look at our current website - we want to keep the current layout design but are happy to change the colors as needed. We will eventually be using your design in the banner on top somehow (a new project will be added for that) . Our website is at www.hscconference.com. I'm uploading our umbrella organization's logo for incorporation - it has to somehow be there, but not prominently. It can be used without the bottom text if need be.
