We need a professional looking logo to attract new businesses to town. The logo should convey these messages:
*A business-friendly community.
*The Village of Homer Glen is a place where my business will be successful if I locate there.
*A great place to invest and build new commercial development.
*The personality of the Village of Homer Glen is:
**Upscale (very attractive demographics for business success).
** Community-oriented (people here love their town and are loyal to their local businesses).
** Business-friendly, open for business, and professional (we will make opening and operating your business here easy and efficient; we listen and have the answers)
** Homer Glen has great people and great connections. Homer Glen has loyal local business customers and other business connections to help my business grow.
**Homer Glen has great locations (commercial corridors) for my business.

We need two logo versions for this job: A black logo and a color logo. The color logo can be one color or up to three colors. Greens are an obvious choice because of the tree image in the existing Village of Homer Glen logo. A handsome, professional gray could be a second color choice for the tag line font, with or without a framing background color (another version of green). We need vector files and jpg files for our use from this project.
The Village of Homer Glen (our town) already has its corporate logo, the tree with the place name in script, "Village of Homer Glen." This existing logo appears in black and can also appear in green. This existing logo can be incorporated into the new logo for business recruitment and economic development. One thought is to simply add the tag line, "...your connection to prime commercial corridors." A completely new logo can also be created, but it must identify "Village of Homer Glen."
