Varied shades of a dark red, such as AD0B04 or 850600. Smaller items can be shades of white and gray, with small parts of the item including other colors.

3

A dragon creating a loop, either standing or flying, with a notebook in hand. You can experiment with glasses or clothing if you wish. Fun and playful like Mushu from Mulan, but a tad more serious and smarter looking like the Guerrilla from Silverback. Less detail would probably be appropriate compared to the Guerrilla due to the dragon being for a logo. The designer can adjust as they see fit.

Looks like either #66 or #61 is the winner. Can you tone down the gloss in #66 to more like the gloss in #65? Thanks.

Final change for draft #55 and it should be perfect. Vable, can you make the building like the one in this picture: http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/thumblarge_438/12532722944hG1C1.jpg? I don't want the building to be too close to the dragon's face, a couple pixels of extra spacing would be nice. Since the tower in the picture I sent you is taller, it should take up less width in the dragon. Also, I like the position of the dragon in #50, can you try wrapping the dragon around the same building I linked you to a picture of above with the same position? Thanks. And Mokora, can you make it so that the dragon is looking down instead of up at the building in draft #56? Basically rotate the dragon until the head is in a place where it can look down at the building. Thanks.

Could you make the tower in #52 a couple of roofs taller and give it a bit more detail instead of having a solid black fill? As well as shrink/take away the base of stairs.

Vable, can you change the tower in draft #42 to something with a clearer Chinese style? Something like the Temple of Heaven, but a story or so higher. In draft #29, we like the idea you have of the dragon grabbing a globe, but this business is focused on Beijing only, not worldwide. Can you have the dragon grab onto a tower, amid the Beijing skyline, populated by traditional and modern buildings?

Apologies for not commenting sooner. The ying yang in draft #13 isn't an element we're going for, but the personified dragon in draft #4 is nice. Could you make it a slight profile (just a little bit) so it's not a perfect front on of the dragon? As well as adding a bit more shading detail. Draft #12 is an interesting take. Can you do it in red as well? Thank you for all the work so far.

I think the dragon in draft #2 is actually great as it is. If you could just change the old man in the middle to an illustration of the CCTV tower (here's a picture: http://www.readthesmiths.com/articles/Images/Travel/Beijing/cctv4.jpg) and a very simple sillohuette of the traditional Chinese building skyline (various pointy building tops like here: http://www.dreamstime.com/traditional-chinese-temple-building-thumb10972678.jpg and here). Can you consider adding legs to the dragon's body? Not too many, just one or two, whatever fits.

The dragon in drafts #1 and #2 is a very attractive design, but gives off a stronger "serious" vibe we'd like. We wanted something a bit more fun, and "real", as in something more personified, akin to the Guerilla from Silverback here: http://www.silverbackapp.com/ just with less detail for the logo. However it is certainly up for consideration. The styling of the text in #2 is very good. However, the old man in those designs isn't something we're looking for. Thanks!
