ABOUT EVENTBUIZZ

Eventbuizz is an app for the busy event planner and conference attendee. An app, that gathers the complete lifecycle of the event Before, Durring and After on a single platform easily accessible through smartphones or tablets on the spot. A dynamic tool providing real time updates, surveys, and polls to all attendees while enabling their immediate response and networking powers. EventBuizz handles the sign-up process and lets users view and search profiles of fellow attendees. Eventbuizz is environmentally friendly and event planners save money printing comprehensive meeting agendas and catalogs. Last minute change in the speaker lineup is known instantly.

During the event, EventBuizz will make dialog happen. If a speaker wants to ask the audience how they feel about a certain topic, an instant poll will appear on their phones or tablets and real time polling results will be projected on a screen visible to all. When it comes to Q&A sessions, not everybody feels comfortable raising their hand in public. And not all questions should probably be asked publicly. With EventBuizz, attendees type questions sent to a moderator who determines which questions to ask the speaker.

EventBuizz isn’t over after the curtain falls. This is when crucial evaluation takes place. How did the speakers perform? Send a survey to attendees. What did they actually learn – and are they able to retain and use these insights going forward? EventBuizz addresses these critical questions that too often are lost in the wind after an event. Through the app, participants can fill out and return questionnaires.

Name:
It was not possible to get the domain name Eventbizz. Therefore we created a combination of the words (Event) (Busy)+(Business) EVENT is crucial and BUIZZ should appeal to the target group as committed dynamic people working with busy business.

People:
Highly experienced, clever thinkers. trustworthy, warm and human.
Company:
Dynamic and innovative. Helpful. We know what it takes to make a successful meeting or conference. No bull shit - we are humans too – and understand your need for success.

TARGET GROUPS AND EFFECT IN THE LOGO:

Primary target group is women working as professional event managers, conference organizers or meeting planners in companies. Secondary target group is people within human resource development or top management responsible for different business areas.

In terms of the target groups mind set: Organized, Caring, Service minded, Clever.

In terms of company and products the following gives input to the visuals: Speakers, schedules, learning, worksheets, charts, meeting points.

I see different ways to put the company name event/buizz together:
One word: eventbuizz – Eventbuizz - EVENTBUIZZ
Or two words in different colours or shades: eventbuizz - Eventbuizz - Eventbuizz
Or including a visual: event(visual)buizz – eventbuizz(visual)

Maybe you can challenge the Busy & Business subject? Maybe a kind of visual or element that can bridge and add dynamics/speed to the understanding of the Event+BusyBusiness part.
Events are about bringing busy people from many destinations together in few days to get the maximum out of the meeting. Maybe there is an idea looking into the airline/travel industry?
Also think of togetherness or connecting people – like you do in the social media like Facebook and LinkedIn.

Remember tagline - full width. #22 Great work. I love how your icons add something new to the name. Both the briefcase and calendar can support the name. But as the target group is primarily women it would be interesting also to see a more female handbag/purse. Could you also try Event in bold and a few other colours. Just to see how it looks. Remember tagline. Thanks. #53 Nice try with the owl. However I think your first version #16 works best. Now I understand the Globe in your (b) ;-) No further comments at this stage.

    Hi designers. What a Sunday here in Denmark. How nice to see so much good work from all of you. It’s fantastic to see how good design develops throughout the process. #16 Tagline works fine. I am not sure about the meaning of your symbol in b letter. Maybe a simpler less cartoon kind of owl. #18 I love the magic in the curve. Interesting that it creates a feeling of global approach. But it also a shooting star and brings a feeling of global star speakers and attendees. So why don’t you try a kind of star instead of the dot with the sound wave. Another solution is a microphone. #23 Great idea with the symbol folder/attendees. Try to make it match the size of the name and perhaps another placement around or together with the name. Also include tagline. #25 It is very interesting with the graphs. It is the return of your investment in your conference. The gold colour is also a way to create value. But please try with silver/grey instead. Also try to make the columns/pillars less dominating. Remember tagline. #28 It is a very well designed logo. And interesting with the round 3D circle/bottom. But I think it is perhaps not suitable for the dynamics, speed and humanity in the event busyness. If it was a bank or law firm I would love it. #30 Still very interesting. Keep this version. Try anoter version with EVENT (black) BUIZZ (grey). Also please try a more light modern colouring to fresh up. Don’t be afraid we need to see what can happen there. As to the symbol with the (e) I like to see something else as mentioned in brief and other comments. Not necessary “locked” in a circle. Try to work with a kind of human touch against the massive typography. But don’t change it.

    #8 Thanks for joining. It is Interesting to see the name with this typography. Try with a black and grey version. But also with other more light colours. See what goes with the grey you have chosen already. Also incorporate the tagline: Your Event Reinvented as mentioned in earlier comments. The symbol needs an idea. You could also try to put something more organic/human or something from the world of animals like an owl=learning/wisdom etc. This will soften the overall impression.

    #9 I think your “check” visual worked better but was too busy. Maybe it can be simpler. Please try another visual if possible. Looking at the other designs I would like to see the name in more bright colours. Perhaps this is too “NFL or Gasoline” like. Also incorporate the tagline: Your Event Reinvented as mentioned in earlier comments. Have a nice weekend.

I can see you have used the same layout before. #4 See general comments – Your idea about using the E does not work. I read the company name ad Ventbuizz. Please note that the name is a bit tricky as we cannot spell it “right” like Eventbizz. #5 #6 See general comments – I don’t really think you have an idea there. Sorry.

    Dear designers. Thank you for partisipating. Here are a few general comments that might help: Please think about the visual/symbol you want to put in the design. It should support the meaning and understanding of the name (Event+BusyBusiness) and the universe of events and conferences. Like the “check” sign in #1. But there are many other visuals from that world you can work with like speed, rush, busy, busyness, come together, people, learning, knowledge, transfer etc. Also bear in mind that the typography should support the feeling you want to express (calm, busy, speed etc.) Also include the tagline: Your Event Reinvented I know it is a tough one opening this universe. There are different routes you can go so you might try a few ideas. Basically you have four components to work with: The name as it is written in letters Eventbuizz The perception of different spelling Event+BusyBusiness The tagline about a company reinventing the way you make events The visual/symbol you put in to give meaning or feeling to YOUR IDEA about this “new “company I am looking very much forward to see your NeXT proposals. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files.
