Since this is an innovation institute, we are open to anything creative that helps convey that message of creativity, cutting edge, fresh.

Since this is an innovation institute, we are open to anything creative
that helps convey that message of creativity, cutting edge, fresh but 2
key additional things the logo should immediately convey:
1. Emphasize the "D" of "IID" in the design as I feel the most important
message is that the org is about "developing" innovation, not just for
high tech experienced types. Allay fears, anyone can develop innovation.
2. Most important - Our org is about helping people, human focused,
professional and personal development and support every step of the way -
very people oriented not just high tech focused. Too high techy or
impersonal feel could scare people from investigating. Logo needs to be
inviting, drawing in, not high tech cold and efficient.
