Like blues/blacks, reds/burgundy, platinum/silver/gold and combinations of those (e.g. blue with gold or black with silver etc.); open to other ideas as well.

Design - would like to incorporate combination of symbols of a rook chess piece and citadel shape(s) if possible (see attached for examples). Please note that I prefer a rook chess piece (or a variation of its elements) as a principal focal point of the design. If unable or impractical to combine the design elements of rook and citadel, then focus on the rook chess piece elements only. Symbols are my preference, but open to using initials or abstract design ideas.

Colors - my comments on colors are just a starting point. Please feel free to use color combinations you consider appropriate/appealing based on your experience.

Text - open to either with or without company name; also could be either full name or partial (Citadel, Citadel Consulting or full Citadel Consulting Group).

Overall concept: As you think about the design, it may help to consider this: a citadel is a small but strong fort within, or a part of, a larger fortification, and served as a stronghold into which people could go for shelter during a battle.

Attention Designers! I have extended the project to finalize some versions of designs that are still in progress. I am hoping to finalize a decision quickly. Please do not submit additional work for now, unless I ask you for something specifically. Thank you all for your creative ideas and many great designs.

Attention Designers! Although I like symbols, I am completely open to using initials, abstract, or other design ideas that you think will work based on your experience. Thanks.

Attention Designers!! MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files. Thanks, MB/LDG/LS Team

For draft #9, I like the direction on color schemes and general design as a starting point. Would like to see variations with more incorporation of the rook (chess piece) elements, and using color combinations with some silver/platinum, if possible. For drafts #10-#13, I like most of the color schemes. However, the reds are giving me some pause, similar to a stop sign. Like the use of the single rook better than three. Prefer a rook design that looks more like a castle (see attached file in design brief), more square angles than round. Please show rook in some lighter colors (e.g. white/silver/gold etc). I don't think I like it in black.
