We like bolder colors in general.

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

We don't want anything with teeth, braces, etc. Three main criteria are: 1. It will look good in black and white form, as well as in color form. 2. Does not project any cultural or ethnic bias . 3. will stand the test of time.

We thought it might be good to have the H and the M from Hamilton and Manuele form the logo so we could basically have a full logo "Hamilton & Manuele Orthodontics" and a condensed version of just "HM" or "H&M" displayed in a professional way.
