White & Red on black background for products, but will also need to work black and Red on white background for stationery, web etc.

The logo and product name will need to be long and rectangular, rather than square, as for product placement, the logo will go onto a 100mm aluminium tube.
Please don't include any illustrations of cameras, lenses, camera cranes, as the design should be more abstract.
I like very much the power of the logos from Red Camera www.red.com
The company already has a logo, but this particular logo is for a product rather than the company, but the two should either compliment each other.

The logo referred to in the previous comment is the one supplied with the brief. Stype_27333.tiff

Regarding the text, please be aware of the company logo and the wavy line, as it might be nice to incorporate this in some way into the text??? Just an idea and I definitely don't want to restrict any unique logo's

Having a separate logo from the text works well. I feel the text needs to be stronger and perhaps a logo in its own right, as this will need to have impact and reflect the strength, innovation and dynamics of the product. Many thanks Paulo for the variations.

Here is a web link to a company that produces dome labels for your reference. Note... It is possible that the logo may work well by having the AimCrane as a flat logo and the abstract design as a dome label for example. I don't want to cramp individual designs by making this a requirement, it's just an idea. http://www.tce.uk.com/Labels/Domed_Labels/domed_labels.html

Thank you JuluMN for your first and very prompt initial design. I'm looking for something perhaps a little more abstract and importantly, the logo design must work on a 100mm tube, so needs to be longer and narrower, rather than square. Logo's should avoid any specific lens, play buttons etc., but be sympathetic to the manufacturers logo supplied with this brief. The equipment is aimed towards the semi-professional video/film market, who unlike the high end are more effected by the aesthetics, rather than just the pure functionality of the product. Font is important and should be modern in styling For practicality, the design should be in two colours assuming that the material is black metal. Full colour designs will be considered, but only if they lend themselves to being produced and work as a domed badge I will try to add a photo of the domed badges that we had made for a different logo.

Attention Designers!! MycroBurst permits you to submit unlimited designs with unlimited variations. However, if you are providing 2 or 3 different color versions of the same logo in one draft, please make sure that if the particular draft gets finalized, each color version should be separated before you will send the final files. Thanks, MB/LDG/LS Team
