We are a hosting company in need of a basic logo/design, generally similar to what you see in the upper left corner at the following sites:

...etc.
Our existing site (parent company) is here: http://www.syminet.com but this is going to be for a new service offering (VPS or "Virtual Private" servers).
The new domain name is zynvox.com, the company name is zynvox. We of course *love* Apple marketing stuff too. We do not have a company slogan yet.

We are leaning a bit toward blue / gray colorscheme since syminet.com has had the red / gray for so long, however we are entirely open to anything.

I'm thinking a simple graphic with "zynvox" in an attractive font. It would be nice if the design allowed the option of using the text on its own, and the graphic on its own although it isn't required (syminet, we use the text on that one obviously and it is just fine).
Would prefer not too complicated or "busy", people are busy enough as it is these days. Simple but effective, classical modern, easily recognizable.
