Yes

Looking for a logo with a symbol to go with it.
Fun, friendly and professional orthodontic practice for children and adults.
We are looking for a modern logo with a warm and welcoming vibe that conveys our individualized and personal treatment of our patients, both young and old that will hold the test of time.

not sure

Our practice is located in the panhandle of Florida (Pensacola) next to the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. I would love to incorporate some aspect of our location (beach, waves, palm trees, fishing, etc) but not necessary. In our own brainstorming we came into a problem of our logos looking more like a Fish Market, Surf Store, etc. rather than an orthodontic practice.

Update: After reviewing many great designs I decided that I do not want a tooth in the logo. However, if you can make the symbol with an S, abstract S (tilted at an angle or side) etc that also kind of looks like a wave that would be good to see. Also, add a hint of a smile somewhere in the Sims Orthodontic name. Thanks! Clay

Thank you all for the hard work so far in designing my logo. It really means a lot and I am looking forward to starting a new phase in my dental practice with a new branding (starting with this logo). I have had some great questions so I want to make some general comments below: I really would like a Symbol or something next to or part of my name (Sims Orthodontics) that I can put on items to hand out to kids (and adults) such as shirts, flyers, cups, pencils, etc that goes well with or without the "Sims Orthodontics part of the logo" that people will recognize as I become more well known in the area. The Symbol could have an S in it, be connected to the beach (waves, ocean, etc) or have non of the above but is memorable and visually pleasing. If you can make some type of subtle connection in the logo with a smile, orthodontics, teeth that would be great but not a must. I am also open to different Tag Lines. "Smile for a lifetime", "Smile Designers" , "Your Local Orthodontist", or any others you may think of. Thanks again, Clay Sims
