Modern Logo for Cleaning Company
CitiKeeper
No
Logo is for a residential cleaning company called CitiKeeper Cleaning Services, Inc. We intend to expand into commercial cleaning and other forms of cleaning (laundry, carpet cleaning, exterior power wash, etc.), so the logo must accommodate these types of cleaning as well.
The logo should convey a sense of safety, efficiency, reliability, and cleanliness.

The design must incorporate the hex color # 05b6f6 (RGB = 5, 182, 246). We’re not opposed to the addition of other colors, but if a dark green is added, a third color must be used (probably yellow). There are too many blue and green cleaning companies out there. The background color of the text box on our home page is e4ffca (RGB= 228, 255, 202), but this color is changeable. Even so, you’re free to use it in your design if you wish.
not sure
Technical Info: The logo will almost always appear on a white background. We do not need a drop shadow, but use of a gradient is OK. The logo must be horizontal rather than vertical. We’re probably interested in a graphic with the word “CitiKeeper” directly to the right. Another option is to use “Cleaning Services” as a subtitle below the word “CitiKeeper,” but in a much smaller font. Maybe provide a version with a subtitle, and another without one. Also, don’t use the “Inc.”
We’re want a logo that is more “corporate” rather than playful or cartoonish, but it must somehow subtly demonstrate the cleaning industry. As an element of the graphic portion, we’re looking for some particular item associated with the cleaning industry (i.e. a broom, spray bottle, etc.) that preferably has motion and is in 3D. Think of a broom sweeping or a bottle spraying… something like that. The item should be imbedded within the graphic – and should be very, very, very abstract; absolutely nothing literal. (Think of the AT@T logo as an abstract globe.) Either way, we don’t want the overall logo to be busy, even though the graphic can be very intricate.
The website is already designed (sorry), but it’s not live. I’m providing a .png copy of the home page. The logo will only been seen where the word CitiKeeper is located (upper left of each page). The website uses Calibri Bold for large header text, and Times New Roman for the body. Given the company has “Citi” in its name, as well as the fact that we use Calibri Bold as a font, you must consciously avoid any similarities to any CitiBank/CitiGroup logo. (e.g. No red umbrellas.)
Finally, we absolutely do not want to see a stereotypical “Maid” graphic. This company bans the use of the word “maid.” We also do not want to see a drop of water wrapped in a leaf or anything else that is overly eco-friendly. While we are a green cleaning company, there are too many others that use this type of logo. Also, even with the name “CitiKeeper,” we’re fairly opposed to a cityscape as part of the logo… but if there’s something interesting… maybe. “Citi” actually refers to the fact that we only operate within urban areas; “Keeper” refers to housekeeping and a feeling of security. Considering that the company is based in Washington, DC – where there are no tall buildings - we can’t see how this would work for us.
