MuddyMax is a new company committed to encouraging the growing community of individuals who participate in athletic events that have a mud component such as adventure races, mud volleyball, mud runs, dirt bike races and obstacle courses.
The MuddyMax logo should appear in the form of a splash of mud with ‘MuddyMax’ written across the middle. The logo should effectively use color, contrast and positive/negative space to portray the mud splash and lettering.

The logo should draw attention and have a high degree of visual depth. Black and a shade of brown seem most appropriate but we will consider others if they work better. The logo will have to stand out equally well on both light and dark backgrounds, even black.

To better understand our target market, search the web and YouTube for the phrases: Tough Mudder, Spartan Race and mud runs. These events all require a can-do attitude combined with a certain degree of both physical and mental conditioning.
The logo needs to evoke a strong, positive feeling from both men and women. It should not be in any man-made shape but rather a natural, irregular shape. The lettering should be rough but unmistakable.
Ideas to consider:
-a splat of mud where the lettering looks like someone used a finger to spell MuddyMax. The font called Chiller is close but we want something bolder and more uniform in thickness.
-a splat of mud in which a boot stamp somehow spells MuddyMax
Open to other simple, creative ideas besides any given here.
