The logo for the "Old Beach" brand name needs to be flexible and versatile because our services have several target markets...investment, residential and commercial. We need to find the perfect middle ground logo that says "casual and professional." Therefore, one reaction to the logo needs to appeal to the housewife looking for her families home and another reaction needs to appeal to an investment executive deciding if our company is competent and serious. Therefore, a purely residential appeal like a house or roof top will be very unappealing to the commercial investment community and vice versa.
