New look for an established Travel booking site

We are a uk based web development company with over 10 years of experience. We often use external designers and have run several competitions on another design site, choosing a winner on each occasion.

Like: simple search box high on left hand side, eg http://www.laterooms.com/ navigation layout on http://www.tripadvisor.com/ (as in 'plan the perfect trip') blue colours in header of http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/ clear layout in http://herefordshire.staysoon.co.uk/ Dislikes: clutter too flashy

Clean/Simple

Professional

Content Driven

Conservative

Modern

Elegant

Service Oriented

#006633 or similar #4D7F3B etc for page background maybe

We are certainly NOT looking for a cut and paste job on the above websites! They are listed to give you an idea of the features we want to see on the page, we need to finish up with a page that is clean, attractive, and not confusing to the visitor. There need to be room for the current ads, and the home page will carry a uk map, but about 30% of the size of the current one. Green and blue for basic page colours.. There will be a photo on the homepage... probably an example of a hotel on site - eg http://www.accommodationbritain.co.uk/places/307.html Existing site: accommodationbritain.co.uk
