This design is to create a logo for my BRAND / COMPANY / BLOG / WEBSITE
called The HappyGirl Experiment. It's a smart, witty, blog about getting
your happy back.

Can you see your design on a t-shirt, a book cover, a billboard? We are
building a BRAND. Think WHIMSY. Think J CREW. Think BEACH. Think HAPPY.
Think SMART.

I am the happy girl. :-) So the logo represents me as well.

I am open to The Happygirl Experiment or The Happy Girl Experiment.

This logo will be featured on my website as well as business cards and other
products as the website/company grows.

The women (and MEN!) who visits my site shop at J Crew. They're preppy and
vacation on Nantucket every summer. She's funny and witty. She drives a
convertible. She loves peonies and is up for any adventure! She's whimsical!

Perhaps we could have a cartoon version of me as part of the logo? If you go
to this page http://www.happygirlexperiment.com/about/, scroll down to the
bottom and see the cartoon girl. This is a stock image but I would LOVE
something like this that looks a little more like me (see the picture of me
in the upper portion of the page.) There doesn't need to be a cartoon girl
but it would be fabulous.

I've created my own logo (see this at http://www.happygirlexperiment.com
) and have been playing with the words
'the happy girl experiment and I'm wondering can we try something with the
lower case g'? I love lower case letters. Maybe it would be fun if we could
make the bottom part of the g be a smile?

I like the colors pale aqua (think of ocean foam) and pale grey/silver. I am
open to other cool (aqua, blue, pale pink, violet) colors..

I lean towards WHIMSICAL, CLEVER, CLEAN logos.

I love the beach and sailing. I also like magnolia and tiare flowers.

I'm very outdoorsy.

I prefer lowercase for all the letters and I also like the split fonts
between "the happy girl" and "experiment" words

I do NOT like dark or muted colors-- no red, brown, purple, dark orange or
olive green.
