Sports are the gelling factor of every society, it helps the community at large to co-exist and come together, sharing the same passions. And sports logos are not just about the team, though it does bring about solidarity through its image; it is also a kind of a rallying icon for the fans under which they unite. When fans want to show their support, they come out wearing their team colors and waving their favorite team’s flags, painting the logos on their faces and wearing outfits that represent the image of the logo.

It is needless to say that a logo is extremely vital for every team of logo designers, for it creates the image of the team all over the world. Like every team has a different color, different uniform and a different name to represent itself in the myriad of teams that exist, every club/team also has its own logo that makes its name stand out and make an impression. A logo helps in not only brand recognition, but also in creating an impression of what the team ideology is, how the players want to be perceived by their fans. The quality that most embodies the true spirit of the team is incorporated in the logo that has been created in accordance with the vital elements of logo design, so that the fans of that sport or that team will immediately associate them with their passion.

Majority of the logos appear to have the face of an intense and powerful animal, to portray its predatory side, or to convey the message of strength and command over the game. A logo is also helpful in intimidating the rival teams, the way a team is represented shows that the players are willing to go any lengths to ensure their victory. There are many examples of such logos that have gained popularity because of their ferocious and challenging outlook, like the famous Chicago Bulls, which shows an angry bull with big horns, or Atlanta Hawks, which shows an angry looking hawk with a basketball clasped in its talons. Designers who work on creating such logos are as unique as their designs, and they can be found anywhere.

While searching for some great logos, we came across other such designers who may not be known worldwide for anything big, but their passion for sports and their ability with a fabulous logo is something worth looking out for. Here are a few names that might come in handy:
