Creative Brief

A Logo for a company that sells Honey.

Hamakko Honey

No

“Hamakko Honey” is a newly established company in Japan that sells honey largely produced in Kauai Island under “Garden Island Ho’omalule”, which is under the same ownership.

“Hamakko” comes from the Yokohama-ian dialect, which a local of Yokohama City would use when speaking. This is where this shop will originate from.

The concept of the logo on the left takes on numerals of 8, 3, 2, 3, 9, 0 which is a toll free number and its sound reflects the meaning of
8 = hachi, which means “bees”
3 = san, which means “honorable”
2 = ni, which means “to”
3 = san, takes only the sound “san=than”
9 = kyuu, takes the sound “kyuu=k + you”,
All together, “Thank you, Bees!!”

We would like the numbers mentioned above included in the logo. Something natural, healthy and somewhat cute but not silly.
