Creative Brief

brochure for a new insurance company product

ESCAP

Financial Services

This is a product for patients of elective and plastic surgery. Plastic surgeons will be offering this product to their patients in their pre-operative packages as an option to insure their non-refundable deposit.

We will need to communicate to include benefits and exclusions for this product. We will also need to include contact information, website information, bio about the company, etc. We would like the brochure to be aesthetically pleasing and fit in with the atmosphere of a doctors office. We would like to keep the models on the brochure natural looking, not as if they have had plastic surgery. They should not look too young- average age around 30. Bare shouldered, minimal face make up, preferably brunette, if possible.

Designers, here is a last minute change- Please switch the two left and middle back panel, so that exclusions are on the back middle panel. If you need to remove the boxes and make the font smaller that is fine..

Under the benefits section, this bullet point should look like this: "The inability of the insured to reach the venue solely and directly due to: -Strikes, riots, civil commotion, martial law or -Flood, fire, explosion or -Through the act of a constituted authority to protect public health and safety -Adverse weather, including snow, fog, frost or storm"

We would like The logo to be 'ESCĀP'. There is no logo to go along with it. It can be in any font as long as it is clearly displayed. The color scheme we would like to work with is soft colors like silver, white, light blue, and light green. It should look like it fits in with a doctor's office.

This should be the opening to the brochure- what the patients should read first: All types of surgery, including the finances you put into them, hold some type of risk. It may take only moments to decide on a procedure, but months to decide on the right surgeon for you. After selecting your surgeon, you must decide how to finance your procedure. Unfortunately, most health insurance policies do not provide coverage. Most cosmetic surgeons require advance payment including a non-refundable deposit. While cancellation policies vary, almost every cancellation results in losing money- even if you have a valid reason. What happens if you have to cancel due to circumstances beyond your control? Now your deposit can be protected thanks to ESCAP- the elective surgery cancellation assurance policy. ESCAP protects you when the unexpected happens and you have to cancel your cosmetic surgery. ESCĀP is offered to all patients of plastic surgeons who have a cancellation policy. This policy is based on each individual patient and all elective surgeries are covered, no matter how small.
