Logo should use the word "AXIOM" in all caps and larger than the words "Haircutting Company" so that the word "AXIOM" could almost stand alone and the words "Haircutting Company" are more like a tag line than they are equal to AXIOM.
Our business is best described as a Modern Barbershop. I would like the logo to include some type of barber pole image, But do not want it to look "Old Fashioned".
I really like mid-century influence meets 21st century, so something simple to read. We currently use bank gothic font.
The ideal logo will be Modern and Urban, with clean image, not too busy. Can be a little masculine but we are a unisex friendly shop, so not very far from center with that influence.

colors that are complimentary to the modern design try to use marry this with use of barber pole (maybe abstract) in traditional red, white, blue.... or if design is strong enough we are open to new ideas
not sure
if using an abstract form to deliver barber pole image, shape and proportion will be important.
www.wmmarvyco.com has great photos of their poles, I like model #55 (without globe on top)... great clear picture of correct proportion of cylinder and stripes
I like the idea of the abstract image but am really very open to letting the designers deliver great work without being too boxed in with such specific request or expectations.
