This is a site where a homeowner can post specs and receive bids on nearly any type of contractor service such as roofing, siding, home security, etc. We want a modern and engaging brand that evokes excitement and consumer appeal. Also the brand may extend beyond the home at some point in the future. So we dont want to be too anchored to any one thing.

We are open but prefer more masculine colors like blues & reds with accents of yellows, blacks, gray, etc. However we are open to ideas. We also dont want it too macho to alienate women.

We like logos with graphic treatment like intel, youtube, ebay, walmart, etc. But we also like illustrative logos like UPS, UShip.com and others. We are open to a complementary abstract image OR the brand itself can be part of an image like uship.com. It just needs to appeal to consumers and be fresh and modern. Think about a mom looking for a handyman to do a project.
